What You Should Know
Who Should Register?
Any business involved in the supply of goods with an annual turnover exceeding Rs. 40 lakhs (Rs. 20 lakhs for special category states) must register for GST.
For businesses providing services, the registration is mandatory if the turnover exceeds Rs. 20 lakhs (Rs. 10 lakhs in special category states).
Additionally, anyone engaged in inter-state supply of goods or services, or involved in e-commerce, exports, imports, or acting as an agent/distributor, must also register for GST regardless of turnover.
Deadlines:
GSTR-1: 11th of each month
GSTR-3B: 20th of each month (subject to turnover-based timelines)
